RIGOBERT is a family owned business established in the early twentieth Century in the Belgian Ardennes, a region known for its timber industry. The art of working this natural and living material is passed down from generation to generation.
In 1957, with the strength of the artisan know-how inherited from his father, Paul, Andrew Godfraind took over and founded the RIGOBERT company in Brussels while his wife, Ermel Thirion, ran a wood products store.
Over time, the orders started pouring in and more ambitious works were entrusted us, so that by 1961, the company already employed ten workers.
In 1973, SPRL RIGOBERT was established, integrating the third generation into management of the company, whose prosperity and dynamism culminated in July 1985 with the establishment of the current public limited liability company.
More than 90 years of tradition and dedication and four generations separate the small workshop from the ambitious company with a track record of major projects worldwide.
In 2010, the RIGOBERT company invested in a brand-new industrial building ideally located near the main highways.
